Wallenberg Academy Fellows 2023

    Heads of department at the Faculty of Medicine are welcome to nominate for Wallenberg Academy Fellows 2023, no later than 26 september.

    Wallenberg Academy Fellows is a long-term program for young researchers funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation (KAW). The program is aimed at researchers in medicine, science, technology, humanities and social sciences and is open to applicants from all over the world.

    The goal of the Wallenberg Academy Fellows program is to give young researchers a work situation that allows for a focus on research and the opportunity to tackle difficult and long-term research issues.

    Nomination process

    KAW announces funding for a new round of Wallenberg Academy Fellows with deadline 15 February 2023, which is why Umeå University wants to inform about the nomination process.

    Heads of department at the Faculty of Medicine can nominate according to these instructions no later than September 26 to research.med@umu.se
