Nordplus

    The Nordplus higher education programme is the exchange programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers for students and teachers at universities and university colleges in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The programme is based on a number of networks and projects between higher education institutions in the different countries.

    The aim of Nordplus Higher Education is to offer funding to closely link higher education institutions in the Nordic and Baltic region. Departments at Umeå University can apply for funding under the Nordplus programme to carry out activities within the following areas:

    • Mobility: student mobility, teacher mobility and express mobility (short mobility, from one week to one month).
    • Network: establishment and development of networks.
    • Project: intensive courses, common study programmes, development projects within higher education, including development of syllabuses.
