Mandatory training

The training is in Swedish at the moment.

Please note that you must complete your mandatory training before applying for a user account for Inspera.

Inspera assessment is the procured system for on-campus e-examination at Umeå university. On this page you can read more about the system, what user roles you can have and what you need to do to gain access to Inspera.

In Inspera there are roles for test designers/writers, assessors, course administrators and proctors. As a user you can have several roles. You need to complete the mandatory training before you can log in and start creating examination questions in Inspera.

There are different training modules for different roles and the training modules also serve as support and guides for when you are working in Inspera.

What do I need to do to start using Inspera?

After completing mandatory training you can log in and start creating examination questions in Inspera. To be able to create an on-campus e-examination a course administrator also have to complete their mandatory training first.

After the training a course instance can be created in Ladok and an order for a written exam can be sent to the Exam Service Office.

Read more about ordering written exams.

Please note that the Exam Service Offices proctors are the only persons trained to ensure that the e-examinations are carried out according to the applicable regulations.
