Information regarding COVID-19

22 August 2022

COVID-19 is no longer classed as a social infectious disease, but it is still important to follow the Public Health Agencys guidelines.

From 1 April 2022, COVID-19 is no longer classed as a social infectious disease. However, the Public Health Agency of Sweden still provide some guidelines.

  • Remind your staff that it is still important to stay at home in the event of symptoms that could be COVID-19.
  • Offer online alternatives and, if possible, offer employees to work from home when they have symptoms that could be COVID-19.

Employees at Umeå University are allowed to get vaccinated against COVID-19 during work hours. You can book a time slot for COVID-19 vaccination at the Vaccination Centre on Campus Umeå on: https://vaccinationsbokning.regionvasterbotten.se/ or contact a health centre for support. Vaccination is free of charge.
