Call for Faculty-funded research time 2025 and forward

Professors and associate professors who, during 2025, will be permanently employed for at least three years at the Faculty of Science and Technology can apply for research time for 25, 50 or 75 percent of their work time that has not already been allocated for other tasks. FFT is normally granted for periods of three to five years. Approved FFT is reduced when the employment is not full time or when the employee is on a longer leave of absence, except for parental leave. An applicant who has previously been granted FFT may apply for an increase of FFT for the remaining period. In that case it must clarified how the applicant's qualifications has become significantly stronger since the previous application. Note that a research plan is no longer part of the application for faculty funded research time.
