First and second-cycle education

    In the academic year 2019–2020, the Faculty of Social Sciences offered 28 Bachelor’s level programmes and 24 Master’s level programmes. Beside these, a large number of freestanding courses are offered, both on-campus and web-based.

    First-cycle study programmes (Bachelor's level) are generally led by a programme council. Second-cycle study programmes (Master's level) are generally led by an education committee at the host department, but they may also have a programme council.
