Call for applications to the Mentoring Programme for Future Faculty

The Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Arts are once again accepting applications to the Mentoring Programme for early-career researchers.

In the new mentoring program, early career researchers will be paired with a senior researcher who will act as a mentor.

The mentor will be there to support and there will be the opportunity to meet on a number of occasions to have informal discussions on agreed topics. Possible areas of discussion may include career planning, prioritizing between activities and how to think about mobility and networking to achieve career goals.

Applications for the mentoring program are made continuously via e-mail to sara.franke-wikberg@umu.se

Priority will be given to early career researchers without permanent employment and who are no more than five years from their dissertation (exceptions will be made for parental leave and long-term illness).

For questions related to the new mentoring program for early career researchers, please contact Sara Franke-Wikberg, Faculty of Social Sciences office. Email: sara.franke-wikberg@umu.se
