Disconnection of fire alarm

A turnout from the fire brigade due to a false alarm will be charged to the department, unit, or similar entity involved. There may therefore sometimes be a need to disconnect the automatic fire alarm in connection with repair or installation work, or the like.

The head of operations must then fill in the "Frankoppling av brandlarm" (Disconnection of fire alarm) form and contact the property owner well in advance. The property owner is the one who decides if the alarm may be disconnected.
