Call: Apply for financial travel support from Kempestiftelserna

    J C Kempes Minnes Akademiska fonder I and II at Umeå universitet announce financial travel support for 2020-21. Teachers, researchers and PhD students can submit their application no later than the 6 September. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, it is not possible to travel within work before 29 September. However, the funds can as an example also be used for fees for digital conferences.

    From Stiftelsen J C Kempes Minnes Akademiska fond (Kempe I) grants are awarded to "meet scientific research and academic teaching and equivalent training as well as general cultural purposes related to the specified purposes."

    From Stiftelsen J C Kempes Minnes Akademiska forskningsfond (Kempe II) grants are awarded to "meet scientific research and academic teaching and equivalent training, including such study with scientific purposes and participation in scientific conferences, both within and outside the country."

    All researchers and doctoral students at Umeå University are eligible to apply. The time for announcing the grants is determined by the faculty board.

    Application:

    • your application should be addressed to the faculty board, whose diary number must be given: FS 2.1.6-286-20.
    • the application and attachments (including CV) must be in one single PDF document, and should be sent as an attachment by e-mail to medel@diarie.umu.se. State the above-mentioned diary number in the subject line.
    • without attachments your application will not be processed.
    • your application must be received by the registrar on 6 September at the latest.
