Three calls from the Swedish Research Council

All three announcements are aimed at researchers in all faculties and are part of newly started national research programs on digitization, segregation. and crime.

For all announcements, the following applies:

Applicant: Individual researcher (+ up to 6 other researchers)
Grant period: 1–4 years
Grant amount: Minimum 400 000 SEK per year, maximum 1 700 000 SEK per year
Application period: 20 April 2022 – 24 May 2022 (14.00/2 pm)

Project grant for research into crime

The research programme into criminality shall contribute new knowledge about the causes and consequences of criminality, and also about methods for preventing and fighting crime. Projects awarded funding will be part of the national research programme into criminality and will be coordinated by a scientific coordinator.

The research programme into segregation shall contribute new knowledge about the significant socio-economic differences that exist, for example between different neighbourhoods, city districts, and parts of the country in Sweden. Project grant for research into the social consequences of digitalisation

The purpose of the project grant is to give researchers the freedom to formulate by themselves the research concept, method and implementation, and to solve a specific research task within a limited period. This is a project grant with focus, which aims at supporting research into the social consequences of digitalisation.
