We want the structure of the training to suit you as a participant. Therefore, you get to decide whether we should work more interactively, with elements of short discussions, practical exercises and reflection, or whether it would be better with a purely informational course. In order for the content to feel relevant, we will also base the training on collaboration opportunities and challenges within your particular research area.
So what do you need? We can offer everything from introductory training to in-depth courses for both small and larger groups.

Get started with collaboration
For some researchers, collaboration is an integral part of research and for others something completely new and sometimes alien. Do you belong to the latter group? Then this is a good start.
The purpose of this workshop is to give you a better picture of what collaboration is, what you need to think about when you collaborate and how collaboration can both contribute to your research and to the people you collaborate with.
The workshop takes about three hours. We can also offer the content in the form of a shorter lecture.
Communicate collaboration and impact
Today, many calls require you to be able to describe how you intend to communicate your research, in what way collaboration will take place within the project, and how the results will be used to benefit society.
The purpose of this workshop is to help you understand how to best clarify your collaboration within and outside the research project, and how to express this in an application.
The workshop takes about two hours and is largely based on you as an individual researcher, your perspective and your research focus. We alternate lectures with shorter discussions and reflections. If you want, we can add a follow-up where we discuss your self-produced text.
One page proposal – about my collaboration
What is your research about? For whom or who outside the academy might it be relevant? And what do you want to collaborate on to develop even further? We can help you make this concrete.
The purpose of this workshop is to make it easier for you as a researcher to describe your research in a target group-appropriate way when you are looking for new collaborative partners.
The workshop is divided into two occasions. First, we meet for an hour to go over the structure of a one-page proposal and give you writing tips. On the second occasion, we devote two hours to feedback on and discussion of your written text.
Strategic collaboration – How do I get enough time and money?
Do you find it difficult to find time for anything other than teaching and research? Or is it rather a challenge to limit the time and energy you spend collaborating with others outside the academy? We can help you find a collaborative balance.
The purpose of this workshop is to make it easier for you as a researcher to create effective collaboration strategies that are in line with the drivers and goals of your research. In this way, you will also be able to more easily strengthen the parts of your project application that describe societal benefit and plans for communication.
The workshop takes about two hours and is largely based on you as an individual researcher, your perspective and your research focus. We alternate lectures with shorter discussions and reflections.
Collaboration and impact in research calls
Today, many Swedish funders, like the EU's Horizon Europe framework programme, require that the research they finance must be carried out in collaboration with relevant actors and/or benefit society at large. What does this mean when you write an application?
The purpose of this workshop is to highlight and identify aspects that you often need to describe in your application. For example, who you collaborate with, who the beneficiaries are, and the benefit to the partner and/or the beneficiaries. We will also take a closer look at communication before, during and after the project.
The workshop takes about three hours and contains practical exercises. We can also offer a shorter version in the form of a lecture with discussion.
