The Faculty of Medicine Election Committee decided on April 10 to recommend that the Vice-Chancellor appoints the following people to serve as Dean and Deputy Dean (as well as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Faculty Board) for the period July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2021:
Dean:
Patrik Danielson, Professor of Anatomy
Deputy Dean:
Marie Bixo, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
The suggested Dean, Patrik Danielson, has announced that, if appointed, he plans to appoint two Associate Deans from July 1 with respective responsibilities for Education and Research. The suggested Dean and the Election Committee make the following suggestion for the Associate Dean positions:

Kristina Lejon, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of Immunology
Associate Dean for Research:
Anna Arnqvist, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of Medical Biochemistry

The Election Committee also suggests that the Vice-Chancellor appoints the following person to serve as External Member of the Faculty Board for the period July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2021:

The Election Committee recommends the following people to serve as scientifically competent members of the Faculty Board for the mandated term (members to be elected by the Faculty Collegium no later than April 27):

Faculty teaching staff who are eligible to vote will receive instructions for voting by email and internal mail. Ballots and return mail envelope will be attached to the instructions sent by internal mail.
