The lecture series Forest Social strives to inspire interdisciplinary perspectives on the forest and examine the connections between the forest and society.

Jenny Ingridsdotter, senior lecturer at the Department of Cultural and Media Sciences, presents her research called "The Swedish Wildfires of 2018: Forests as Lived Spaces and Local Community Agency"

The lecture is part of Forest Social, a lecture series from Future Forest aimed at students at SLU and Umeå University.

After the lecture, there is an opportunity to ask questions, discuss and have coffee.
