Warm welcome to attend the KBC DAYS, an annual interdisciplinary conference, with presentations from different departments and research centres affiliated with KBC as well as from research infrastructures at Umeå University and SLU.

This year, the KBC DAYS finally will be back to a physical format after two years of digital events and is held on 8-9 November at Chemical Biological Centre, KBC, at Umeå University.
Big data – main theme
A scientific focus this year is on "Big Data". Come and listen to the key note lectures and other presentations discussing different aspects, advantages and challenges of analysing, interpreting and handling big data.
During the two day conference there will also be many other inspiring presentations from KBC, including talks by new research employees, awardees and researchers that received large grants this year, PhD students and young researchers from the Umeå Postdoc society, UPS.
Celebration of the 15th anniversary of KBC
This year, two special events will be dedicated to celebrating the 15th anniversary of KBC! Join for the panel discussion with those who contributed to the establishment and development of KBC to reminisce about how it all started, highlight what has been achieved, and discuss future visions for research and collaboration at KBC.
A gala dinner will be held on the evening of 8 November.
