Pint of Science – present your research at the bar!

    Are you interested in popular science and like the idea of presenting your research in the Elektra bar in Umeå? Or do you have a colleague that you think would be a good candidate?

    The Umeå Postdoc Society, UPS, is organising a scientific event called Pint of Science. This event is an international event, where scientists (from any background) present their research in a bar (here Elektra). It is entrance free.

    The event will be held on the 22, 23 and 24th of May 2023 in Elektra (from 6pm to 8pm). There will be two researchers presenting their research per evening, i.e. six researchers in total.

    UPS is looking for some volunteers to present their research, and hereby send out a form where you can nominate a speaker you think will be good for this event (can be from PhD student to Group Leader). You can also nominate yourself.

    Deadline of nomination is 21 March 2023.
