Workshop: Teaching in English at Faculty of Medicine

    Karyn Sandström, Associate professor at Department of Language Studies and teacher of English has developed a training package for you who want to develop your ability to teach in English and help you make a transition from teaching in Swedish to English.

    The package contains four different workshops that can be done separately. Workshops three and four refer back to workshops one and two.

    You can conduct these on your own at the time that suits you, but are encouraged to find a partner or a small group of colleagues to do these workshops with.

    Workshop 1 Listeners and Presenters in an additional language
    Workshop 2 Get to know yourself as an English presenter
    Workshop 3 Disciplinary Language
    Workshop 4 Help with a Corpus and Google Scholar

    Estimated time: 3-5 hours, no examination assignments.
