Pedagogical Digital Competence

    The focus of this course is pedagogical digital competence (PDC). With pedagogical digital competence we mean the teacher’s ability to apply a critical approach, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, implement, evaluate and develop ICT-based courses.

    The aim is to encourage teachers to document and develop their ability to teach using digital tools. Our starting point is the teachers own teaching activities. The course provides practical experience in PDC and a theoretical foundation regarding how digital tools can be used in an educational context to best support student learning.

    This course is aimed at teachers who want to develop their ability to use digital resources in an educational context and deepen one's own pedagogical digital competence (PDC).
