Release of English version of campus art guide

    A guide to the art at campus in Swedish – "Konstvandring på Umeå universitet" – was released last year. Now the English version "Art Trail at Umeå University. A guide to the works of art on campus" is released. It can be bought for SEK 100 at Infocenter in Universum, at the Bildmuseet shop and at Visit Umeå at Renmarkstorget. It may be ordered via the Bildmuseet website as well.

    The art guide presents about 60 of the 1 200 artworks available at Umeå University campus. The richly illustrated book describes the unique artworks in relation to the surrounding environment and architecture.

    The Swedish art guide is available in a printed version as well as a digital one. Today the English art guide is only available in the printed version, but the digital one is under construction and will be released later this spring.

    The art guide is produced by Bildmuseet, the Communications Office and the Department of Culture and Media Studies at Umeå University in cooperation with Akademiska hus and the Public Art Agency Sweden.
