Change of Pension Administration

    Effective 1 March 2015, Umeå University will be affiliated with the "Enklare pensionshantering" service of the National Government Employee Pensions Board (SPV). This means that support and personal guidance previously provided by the Office of Human Resources will be transferred to SPV. Questions regarding your government employee pension and occupational group life insurance should be given directly to SPV. The objective of this change is to improve the effectivization of the university administration.

    How does this apply to me as an employee?

    • You will receive advice and guidance about your pension from SPV instead of the Office of Human Resrouces. You can contact SPV via phone at 060-18 76 00 or e-mail at pensioner.umu@spv.se
    • If you are approaching pension age, you will be contacted by SPV instead of the Office of Human Resources. 
    • If you plan to begin your pension earlier than 65 years old, through early payment or deferred payment, you must contact SPV to apply to start your pension.
