New faculty director of studies - Fredrik Georgsson

Over the past two years, Fredrik served as deputy faculty director of studies at the faculty and now replaces Lennart Nilsson, who is retiring. Fredrik is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and moreover, the program director of the Master's program in technical computer science, an assignment that he leaves now. As deputy faculty director of studies, Fredrik will be located on the faculty office.

Fredrik will include working with quality and development issues in education at undergraduate and graduate levels and act as a support for the faculty departments and program managers.
– Complex and interesting, says Fredrik for his new task as he looks forward to it.

– Obviously, Lennart Nilsson leave a huge void behind him but I am convinced that Fredrik, together with Susanne Vikström will form a very competent couple, says director of dean's office Anders Lundin. Lennart will also remain part-time, at least in the autumn, to work with quality issues in postgraduate education, adds Anders.
