Nominate a candidate for new Vice-Chancellor of Umeå University

    Lena Gustafsson will be completing her term of office as Vice-Chancellor in approximately one year, and therefore, the University Board of Directors has begun the process of recruiting a new Vice-Chancellor. Employees and students have the opportunity to nominate candidates until 15 August 2015.

    Umeå University's Vice-Chancellor Lena Gustafsson will conclude her mandate during the mid-year period of June/July 2016, and therefore, the university board of directors – under the leadership of Board Chairman Lennart Evrell – has initiated the process of recruiting a new Vice-Chancellor.

    Faculty, staff and students at Umeå University now have the opportunity to submit suggested candidates, and both internal and external nominees are welcome. It is not required to inform candidates that they have been nominated.

    The nominations will be processed by a committee, which will decide how and if they will proceed with the candidate.

    It is possible to submit nominations anonymously.

    The final day to submit a nomination is 15 August 2015.
