Training in Canvas

On this page you will find information about workshops in Canvas. We offer workshops for getting started in Canvas and thematic workshops for certain functions in Canvas.

Workshops in Canvas

A workshop is basic training in the learning platform Canvas. The aim is that you will get an overview of tools, building blocks and stucture to be able to create courses in Canvas. An introduction to regular learning activities, working with groups and how to create and assess tasks is included in the workshop.

During the workshops you will have plenty of time to ask questions. The workshops will be held in Zoom.

The workshops have a maximum of 20 participants.

Last day to register is two days before the workshop you want to attend.

Examination in Canvas - How to use Tasks, Matrices and Quiz
7 December at 10-12, Zoom
Languange: Swedish

In this workshop, a review of three tools in Canvas that are relevant to use both during an examination and before the examination will be presented. Tasks and Matrices are in many ways related and are appropriate tools for examining such knowledge and skills that require an assessment of students' performance. Quizzes are relevant for such knowledge measurements that can be corrected, and are therefore also a valuable tool in formative assessment when students can complete practice tests to self-evaluate their knowledge before an exam.
