Call, funding for pedagogical development work

The call covers funding for pedagogical development work for first-cycle or second-cycle programmes at the Faculty of Medicine. A maximum of SEK 100 000 per project is granted.

Examples of projects that the funding can be used for are:

1. Development of all new courses.
2. Development of existing courses with respect to subject matter or pedagogical model/structure.
3. Pedagogical development work (e.g. development of new teaching methods, forms of examination and evaluation) within education at undergraduate and advanced level, without direct relation to a specific course or programme.

Indicate the programme for which the application is related to, the applicant's name and e-mail address.

Please include:

• Description of the project (purpose and the issue).
• Timetable.
• Budget, including the possibility of co-financing.
• Approval from the Head of Department or equivalent.

A signed original copy must be sent digitally to UN.medfak@umu.se (ongoing, but no later than 2021-05-21). Mark e-mail in the subject with "Pedagogical development work".

Decisions are made on an ongoing basis by the UN and funds can be used until 2021-12-31.

A maximum 1 A4-page report including financial statements shall be submitted to UN by 2022-02-28. Furthermore, the applicant is expected to present the project at the Faculty's 'pedagogiska dag'.
