New mobile phone contract requires action

19 May 2017

The University is changing operators for mobile telephony from Telia to TDC, which will result in a few changes of rules and routines. Also, everyone with a mobile phone contract must submit an order form to get a new SIM card and sign a consent form for salary deductions no later than 1 June. For the order to be valid, your head of office or department must sign it.

Things to consider about the change in contracts

The order form for a new mobile phone contract must be submitted to telephony administrators before 1 June, or before, with your head of office or department's signature. You will keep your phone number. If your order has not been submitted before 15 June, you will keep your current contract over the summer. Your contract will, however, cease to work on Friday 22 September.

It takes about 10 days to order a new contract with TDC. Hence, orders submitted after 11 September may mean that you have no contract for one or several days when it runs out on 22 September.

Remember to save information stored on your SIM card onto your phone instead, for instance contacts.
