New recommendations for purchasing mobile phones and computers

The recommendations are continuously updated with regards to changes in available goods, evaluations and tests. A further improvement is that issues of service and warranties should now be more easily handled.

New recommendations for the choice of mobile phones

Some suitable models have been picked out to make it easier for you to choose a mobile phone. The selection is based on the most common needs and the requirements within the university organisation. Quality, technical functionality and security were some of the specifications in question. The models are divided into two sections.

Category 1: Fulfils all basic requirements and other important needs

Category 2: Models with upgraded memory capacity and a more advanced processor

New recommendations for the choice of work computer

The computer brands that are currently recommended and have been tested are Apple, Dell and HP. For each brand, there are two models to choose from. Beside a standard model there is also a lightweight and more portable model. The computers have all been tested in the University's systems and fulfil the requirements that we set regarding quality, performance and reliability in service. All recommended computers are compatible with our university-wide systems.

Further information about the selection and models are available in the online order system Wisum. This system is only available in Swedish, ask your manager or IT contact for help when needed.
