Name change for University Management Building in effect

    The former University Liaison Building (Samverkanshuset) now takes its new name, the University Management Building. The new Swedish name is Universitetsledningshuset. The decision from June 2018 came into effect on 1 January 2019 as the external signposting is now in place.

    As the name change of the University Liaison Building (formerly Samverkanhuset in Swedish) has now come into effect, we recommend that all university communications now use the new name, the University Management Building. In Swedish: Universitetsledningshuset.

    The building in question is joined to the University Administration Building on Petrus Laestadius väg on Campus Umeå. Find the building on the map.

    How does this affect you?

    For anyone working in the building, please consider revising your email signatures, potential business cards and template documents. Web editors need to oversee information on for instance visiting addresses on their web pages.

    For anyone booking meeting rooms or holding classes in the building, please make sure your schedules and calendar events are updated so that visitors can find their way. If you notice the old name, Samverkanshuset or University Liaison Building, in systems or in communication, please contact the system owner or author to make the change.
