Universum building partially closed 1-3 October

The EU Arctic Forum will be held in Umeå on 3-4 October. On Thursday 3 October, activities will take place in Aula Nordica at Campus Umeå, which will affect accessibility to all operations in the Universum building during 1-3 October. Here's how it may affect you.

Tuesday 1 October

Infocenter will close at 14:00, but can be reached via telephone and email as usual until 16:30. Apart from Infocenter, the Universum building will open but will be impacted by preparations for the EU Arctic Forum.

Wednesday 2 October

As of 14:00, all operations in Universum, including the glass skywalk between the Natural Sciences Building and Universum and other general areas of the building, will be closed for visitors. The area nearby Universum will be blocked off, including the entire car park. Therefore, you must park your bicycle, car or other vehicle elsewhere.

The Student Health Centre, study guidance drop-in, and support for those with disabilities will be completely closed on 2 October and 3 October.

Infocenter will be closed but can be reached via phone and email between 8:00 and 16:30.

Thursday 3 October

Universum will remain closed to visitors and only accredited guests will have access to the premises. The area nearby Universum will be blocked off, including the entire car park. Therefore, you must park your bicycle, car or other vehicle elsewhere.
