Opening hours and staffing at the University Administration

30 March 2020

Most offices have a reduced number of staff on campus but some can instead be reached online or by phone. Find out what service functions are available on campus or how to otherwise get hold of people.

All activities in the University Administration are undertaken with the same objectives as before COVID-19.

The difference is that most university administration offices have a reduced number of members of staff on campus, but instead employees and heads of offices can be reached online, by email or phone.

"The University Administration follows the decisions and recommendations by national authorities and the University Management. Travel restrictions and working from home are two important measures taken to reduce the risk of spreading disease. The objective is to uphold the administration's activities as normal, albeit through completely new forms," says University Director Hans Wiklund.

All offices control their incoming emails regularly and go to their workplace whenever needed, for instance for signatures or other work tasks that cannot be performed remotely.

"Those tasks that require access to the workplace will also be processed on campus until further notice. I understand that these new routines can cause problems for individuals, but I am confident everyone's willingness to take responsibility in this incredibly difficult situation," says Hans Wiklund.

Those offices that have customer services or other service functions are available according to what is stated below. These details are subject to change in the event of further restrictions due to COVID-19.
