South Africa – Sweden Research & Innovation Week

On 4–5 May, Umeå University organises satellite events on campus under the 2020 South Africa – Sweden Research & Innovation Week.

The satellites are linked to the following themes:

  • Climate change, natural resources and sustainability.
  • Social transformation through change: Knowledge and social development strategies for society.
  • Understanding the burden of disease in Sweden and South Africa and its impact on the health systems of the two countries in the future.

Registration

The registration for the satellite event is open for all researchers, staff, and students. You register by sending an e-mail to sasuf@uu.se no later than 20 April. Specify in your e-mail, which satellite you are registering for.

About SASUF

The South Africa-Sweden University Forum (SASUF) is a strategic internationalisation project running from 2017-2020 with the overall aim of strengthening ties between Sweden and South Africa in research, education and innovation. At Umeå University, the project is coordinated at the International Office.

The third and final seminar is organised i Uppsala. Participants for that event have been nominated by Umeå University.
