Distinguished and Recognised university teachers

    Nine teachers at the Faculty of Medicine have been appointed as Distinguished and Recognised university teachers of the Faculty.

    Through the system for acquisition of educational qualifications for teachers at Umeå University can the importance of significant pedagogical initiatives be promoted and rewarded.

    Through the system the following following nine have been appointed as Distinguished and Recognised teachers, respectively, from 1 January 2022.

    Britt-Marie Stålnacke, Community Medicine and Rehabilitation
    Anncristine Fjellman-Wiklund, Community Medicine and Rehabilitation

    Recognised teachers
    Ingrid Mogren, Clinical Sciences
    Therese Eskilsson, Community Medicine and Rehabilitation
    Eva Levring Jäghagen, Odontology
    Tomi Myrberg, Surgical and Perioperative Sciences
    Margareta Persson, Nursing
    Maria Sandström, Radiation Sciences

    284 teachers at Umeå University have been appointed as Distinguished and Recognised teachers as of Spring term 2021. This means that the most number of Distinguished and Recognised teachers in Sweden are at Umeå University.
