Call for conference grants

Conference grants are only granted for conferences hosted in Umeå since the purpose of the call is to promote Umeå University and Umeå town.

You can be granted funding for social events in conjunction with the conference, such as a dinner or reception as well as co-funding for costs pertaining to premises or IT services when organising an online event.

Please remember that events can only be organised if the pandemic and the rules established by the Vice-Chancellor allow. Currently, no social or public events, conferences or meetings in person may be held.
