Workshop within Ageing research

Within MIRAI 2.0 a workshop within ageing is organized on 28-29 September. The workshop gives researchers the opportunity to learn more about ageing in Sweden and Japan. Researchers in all disciplines are welcome to participate.

Umeå University is part of a collaboration project called MIRAI 2.0, together with ten Swedish and eight Japanese higher education institutions. Mirai means future and is a project to strengthen academic cooperation in education, research and innovation between Swedish and Japanese universities.

– To participate in MIRAI gives you as a reseatcher possibilities to broaden your network, start collaboration within fields of common interest with other researchers from universities in Japan. Thereby accessing knowledge and inspiration that can contribute to the own research as well as Umeå university's research in whole, says Jenny Ahlinder Hagberg, project manager for MIRAI at Umeå University. 

Linnéuniversitetet is hosting the workshop which is organized in collaboration between Linné univeristet, Umeå University and Waseda University.

Deadline to register for the workshop is September 6th.

During the autumn, workshops will also be arranged in the thematic areas sustainability and artificial intelligence.
