Retreat i Strömbäck den 20:e-21:e april 2020

Future Faculty bjuder in unga forskare till en retreat i Strömbäck den 20:e-21:e april 2020. Retreaten vänder sig till forskare som erhållit sin PhD men ännu inte har en tenure (tex postdocs och PIs) vid Medicinska fakulteten, Umeå universitet.

Future Faculty vill med denna retreat möjliggöra nya samarbetsmöjligheter mellan unga forskare och en up-to date om aktuella projekt inom fakulteten. På programmet finns även föreläsningar om karriärvägar inom akademien, samt om innovation och hur akademiska kunskaper kan nå samhället.

Vi vill även ge en inblick i Medicinska fakulteten och ge deltagare möjlighet att påverka den framtida inriktningen och arbetet för Future Faculty.


Retreat in Strömbäck, April 20th-21st, 2020

The Future Faculty invites young researchers to a retreat in Strömbäck, April 20th-21st, 2020. The retreat addresses postdocs and young PIs who hold a PhD but not yet a tenured position at the medical faculty, Umeå University.

The Future Faculty wants to provide the opportunity for new collaborations to be formed between young researchers and an up-to-date on current research projects within the faculty. The program also includes lectures on academic career paths, as well as innovation and how academic knowledge can reach the society.

We also want to give an insight into the medical faculty and give participants the opportunity to influence the future direction and work of the Future Faculty.
