Inspera assessment is the procured system for on-campus e-examination at Umeå university.
Umeå university signed an agreement with Inspera assessment in January 2021. During the spring semester 2021 the project has worked with system integrations, routines and preparing for training to be able to launch the system in the beginning of fall semester 2021.
What do I need to do to start using Inspera?
After completing mandatory training you can log in and start creating examination questions in Inspera. To be able to create an on-campus e-examination a course administrator also have to complete their mandatory training first.
After the training a course instance can be created in Ladok and an order for a written exam can be sent to the Exam Service Office.
Read more about ordering written exams.
Please note that the Exam Service Offices proctors are the only persons trained to ensure that the e-examinations are carried out according to the applicable regulations.
Training and support
A digital resource will be published in Canvas September 15. The resource will be in Swedish to start with. The Canvas resource is where you can complete your mandatory training and find the knowledge you need to be able to create and carry through an on-campus e-examination.
The training material is adapted for the role or authorisation the user has in Inspera. There is training for test designers/writers, assessors, course administrators and proctors.
