The Faculty of Medicine is an organization for education and research in the fields of medicine, odontology and health care. The Faculty has 13 departments and about 5 800 undergraduate, 550 postgraduate students and about 1 150 employees, 50 percent of them are teachers/researchers.

The purpose of this prize is to encourage employees and students at the faculty to work towards equal opportunities. The prize can be awarded to a single employee or student, or a group of employees/students at the faculty. Nominations must be submitted latest 19 April 2021.
In March, it is time to answer the employee satisfaction survey for 2021. Vice-Chancellor Hans Adolfsson is keen to get an indication of how the university's staff are doing and how work during the pandemic is going:"I really hope that as many people as possible will take the time to participate."
