Strategic Grants for Internationalisation 2023 is now open

5 March 2023

STINT, the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education, announces strategic grants to contribute to the renewal and development of university-wide internationalisation, with top-up option for young researcher mobility.

This programme is aimed at the university leadership and supports strategic initiatives which build on or benefit from the drive and experiences of individual internationalisation pioneers, while clearly contributing to comprehensive internationalisation.

New for this call:

Additional funds are offered to facilitate the mobility of young researchers. Such funding enables them to participate in and build strategic international projects early in their careers. Due to the pandemic, many young researchers have had limited opportunity to stay abroad thus far under their careers.

Young researchers are defined as those currently registered as doctoral students, or who have obtained their doctoral degrees in 2020 or later.

Applications

All applications are sent to Ingrid Svensson, Head of the International Office, by 29 March. The International Office compiles the applications and prepares proposals for the Vice-Chancellor, who decides which project proposal or proposals are sent to STINT.
