Approximately 2,000 independent student assignments contain sensitive personal data each year. From 1 July 2023, Microsoft Teams can be used. First, however, some safety precautions for Teams need to be introduced.
When our students return next semester, the Ladok services on the student web will have moved. From then, it will no longer be possible to register for courses, sign up for exams or create transcripts and certificates from the student web. Instead, all these things can be achieved via the national Ladok portal.
On 17 June 2022, the Student Health Services will move to new premises on the entrance level of the Social Sciences Building.
Since the spring semester 2021, Umeå University participates in a WHO project on students' mental health. The aim of the project is to get a clearer picture of how our students are doing and to eventually develop digital forms of support. Employees who meet the spring 2022 first-semester graduate programme students, are therefore asked to provide the students with information in advance.
On 2 November the limitation on number of participants in the university's various premises is removed. The university's guideline to leave every chair empty is also removed from that date. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated must, however, still follow the general guidelines of the Public Health Agency of Sweden when it comes to maintaining distance to others.
