Changes to the student web – Ladok services will be moved

From 19 June, the students can no longer use Ladok services on the student web. From then, it will no longer be possible to register for courses, sign up for exams or create transcripts and certificates from the student web. Instead, all these things can be achieved via the national Ladok portal.

The student web allows students to view their schedules, get important information and news items or see what events are coming up. The student web has also been a platform for administrative tasks, such as signing up for an exam, creating transcripts and certificates, seeing their achieved learning outcomes and similar. From autumn semester 2023, this type of administrative tasks will instead be moved to the national Ladok portal.

Some students tend to already go straight to Ladok, so they will not even notice the difference. However, students who go through the student web will. Luckily though, there will naturally be links guiding students from the student web to Ladok.

This change is a direct effect of an analysis of the digital situation students are facing, which has shown that the student web has not been used to the extent it was intended. Certain quality problems have also been reported about the administrative services – problems that the Ladok portal is spared from.

Our current students will be informed about the changes through a news item on the student web, the student unions and our digital screens spread across campus. Our study administrators and Infocenter will also be informed separately. 

Schedules will still be shown when logged in

When students are logged in, they will still be able to view their schedules, update their contact details and receive information from their department and university-wide news.

It is important that teaching staff and others who come in contact with students are aware of the changes and can guide students right. To achieve this, an introduction into the changes on the student web will be held via Zoom on two occasions (to choose from), 5 May and 9 June.
