Director and Assistant Director of a new center for AI-related research

    Umeå University plans to establish a new cross-faculty Centre for research on Artificial Intelligence (AI), its implications and applications.

    We now seek two experienced researchers already employed at Umeå University, preferably from different faculties, to lead the work to put the Centre in place and serve as its director and associate director in the start-up phase. The assignments are part time as agreed with the Vice-Chancellor.

    Registration of interest, with a letter of application and CV, is sent via Varbi by October 8, 2021. State whether you are interested in the assignment as Director, as Associate Director, or both.
