AI and Solutionism: special #frAIday edition

    What is our role as AI researchers in countering (or driving) hype about AI, and what should it be in the future? How can and should we act within the current system to achieve the research and results we wish for? This is the theme of the season finale of #frAIday.

    The #frAIday seminar series welcomes everyone interested in AI to a panel discussion with well-known researchers in computing science, sociology, law, informatics and philosophy.

    The event is organized in collaboration with HumLab and will be in English in a hybrid format on 17 June at 12.15-13.00.

    #frAIday is supported by Umeå University's Council for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems (RAI), and the European Union's HumaneAI-net project.
