Call: UCMR conference and symposium support 2024

    UCMR opens a new call to support UCMR members in organising conferences and symposiums in 2024. The deadline for application is 1 June with decision taken in the end of June.

    Applications should be submitted at least three months before the planned event.

    Eligibility

    • You belong to a research group affiliated to UCMR and the UCMR-funded event should be reflected/marketed as a UCMR event.

    The following must be included in the application:

    • Short description (max 1 A4) of the conference/symposium topic, number of participants, tentative invited speakers, preliminary programme.

    • Budget including motivation of requested amount. Keep in mind to include OH costs in the budget. Please note that co-financing is expected.

    Application submission

    Please send your application in a single PDF to UCMR research coordinator: ingrid.soderbergh@umu.se no later than 1 June. Use "UCMR Symposium/Conference support" as the subject in the email.

    Decisions are taken in an extended UCMR leadership group meeting.
