The Nordic Centre in India announces travel grant

    Staff at Umeå University who will be travelling to India within the framework of their research, can apply for a travel grant from the Nordic Centre in India. The grant amounts to EUR 500 and deadline to apply is 15 April and 15 October.

    The application should include:

    • CV along with a list of research background/experience and publications/research projects (max 1 page)
    • Personal motivation and expected results from the travel being considered (max 2 pages)
    • Information about place, time, duration of stay, etc.
    • Recommendation letter from your home university for the visit
    • Invitation letter from a host university located in India
