Are you eager to foster research collaborations in the Arctic? Seise the opportunity to become an Arctic Five Chair. The programme welcomes researchers from all disciplines, and the application deadline is 22 March.
The Arctic Five is an alliance of five institutions in the Arctic regions of Sweden, Norway, and Finland, comprising:
- Umeå University
- Luleå University of Technology
- University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway
- University of Lapland in Rovaniemi
- University of Oulu
Their common objective is to promote and share knowledge, education, research, and innovations, aiming to develop a more sustainable Arctic.
Do you want to be part of it?
The 2024 call for the premier research collaboration platform, Arctic Five Chairs, is now open. Becoming an Arctic Five Chair provides support for developing joint projects and assistance in securing larger funding.
If accepted, you will work part-time, at least 20%, with an annual budget of €10,000 to cover operational costs.
To apply, you should be an established scholar at one of the Arctic Five universities with ongoing or planned collaborations with the other institutions.
