Season’s greetings from me to you

    This year, I have taken the opportunity to summarise the past year through a video in which I mention events both within and outside of our university – both positive and less positive ones. I also recommend a slight update to a traditional Swedish Christmas dish that was really appreciated at my house last year.

    Tendencies for increased political control over university activities are in the air. As a result, we need to continue to fight for academic freedom and institutional autonomy in the years ahead. On a positive side, student recruitment is still going well, and there is a good influx of students. The most recent allocation from research funding bodies was also hopeful. This and a bit more is what I will summarise in my season's greetings video found below.

    I hope that you will get an opportunity to wind down and get time for thought during the holidays and maybe read a book or do a jigsaw puzzle.
