New doctor? Register to the Spring Graduation Ceremony

The Spring Graduation Ceremony at Umeå University takes place on 20 May 2016 at 16:00 at Aula Nordica, Campus Umeå, and the following ceremony banquet at 18:00 at Restaurant Universum. The ceremony is arranged for doctors graduated at Umeå University up to and including 8 May, 2017.

Dress code
Please notice that you have to wear formal dress at the ceremony, i.e. white tie and tails and white waistcoat, evening gown, national costume or academic gown.

Doctors of the faculty of Medicine should notice that the deadline for participating in the lottery of renting a doctoral hat is 1 March at 13:00 and for buying 8 March.

Deadline is 5 April, 2017.
