Cathrine Norberg appointed new Deputy Vice-Chancellor

    The Vice-Chancellor has appointed Professor Cathrine Norberg as the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor for education on the first and second cycle level as of 1 January 2023. Cathrine Norberg is currently Pro Vice-Chancellor at Luleå University of Technology and Professor of English.

    "Professor Cathrine Norberg has a broad and solid experience from several management and leadership positions in academia and will be a strong addition to the management at Umeå University," says Vice-Chancellor Hans Adolfsson. "We are very pleased with the recruitment and anticipate welcoming Cathrine Norberg to Umeå University."
