Invitation to join as a contributing writer

    It is our pleasure to invite you as a contributing author to the special issue of The International Journal of Developmental Biology. The aim of the issue is to introduce the cutting-edge research in the Nordic Countries and to serve as an advertisement of the world class research.

    Significant progress has been made in the experimental biology and medicine fields due to stem cell and developmental biology and their related disciplines. Yet the complexity of developmental processes and morphogenesis represent one of the most challenging scientific
    questions. Knowledge of how evolution has changed the developmental programs over time and at the same time shaped the anatomical structure assembly understanding of which is in its infancy.
    In this Int. J. Dev. Biol special issue we aim to obtain together publications that will represent the top-notch research lines in the Nordic countries. We aim via this special issue that the publications will serve to shape the future of biology, to promote our visibility and excitement of the field and provide links to developmental biology with relevance to environmental and planetary health and reproductive health.
    We invite submission whose length and number of references is not restricted. Original articles, commentaries and mini/reviews are accepted. The submission guidelines.
    The deadline for MS submission is 30.09.2023.
