Newly qualified researcher receives grant from the Swedish Research Council

Haidar Al-Naseri, Department of Physics, is awarded a total of 3.6 million SEK from the Swedish Research Council in the spring call for grants for international postdocs within natural and engineering sciences.

Haidar Al-Naseri recently presented his thesis on strong-field effects in quantum plasma and is now continuing his research in theoretical physics.

The purpose of the grant is to give newly qualified researchers with a doctoral degree from a Swedish university the opportunity to expand their networks and their competences by working abroad under secure employment conditions. The grant is also intended to promote the quality and renewal of Swedish research.

A total of 14 out of 53 applications for grants in this area were approved.
