Call from Wallenberg's foundations MMW and MAW

The Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation (MMW) supports research in the fields of law, economics and social sciences. Priority projects include new research areas and research of a cross-border nature, preferably with a focus on IT and digital media.

The Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Memorial Fund (MAW) support research projects, preferably in the humanities and learning disciplines. Priority projects include new research areas and research of a cross-border nature, preferably with a focus on IT and digital media.

To be considered, applications must first be prepared by the faculty. The Faculty Research Committee deals with incoming projects. Nomination proposals from the Departments are to be sent to ulf.sandqvist@umu.se no later than November 18, 2019.

Each nomination must be written in English and include:

• Name and CV with publication list for all participating researchers in the project.
• Project description on 4 pages (the final application sent to Wallenberg in April is on 10 pages).
• An overall budget and the name of a budget contact person working at the department.
• Certificate from each institution concerned that shows that the Head of department supports the application and thus stands for any co-financing.
