Call for funding for WCMM fellows

    Call from Wallenberg centre for Molecular Medicine (WCMM) and Region Västerbotten. Call for funding, up to 4 grants, up to 750.000 SEK each for WCMM fellows. Apply no later than 2021-04-02.

    Wallenberg Centre for Molecular Medicine (WCMM) at Umeå universitet and Region Västerbotten invites current WCMM fellows to apply for grants up to 750.000 SEK (including indirect costs).

    Eligible to apply are clinical and pre-clinical WCMM fellows (WCMM-associated researchers are not eligible). The grant can be used flexibly, to cover for example salary for post-doc or consumables.

    Eligibility criterias

    • Eligible to apply for the grant is, all clinical and pre-clinical WCMM fellows. Applicants will compete in the same group.
    • The application should be approved by the prefect at the affiliated institution.

    The distribution of grants will be based on a peer review by an external panel that evaluates scientific merits and the applicants use of already received WCMM funding. Applicants must have signed up their already received WCMM funding to be able to apply for this grant.

    Descision on grant distribution will be made by the WCMM steering committee. The grants must be used within 1 year after date of descision.

    Evaluation will be made by English speaking reviewers. We encourage you to write your application in English.
